Rather hym than mee
Everye now and thenne, over the past few years, my mynde tyrns to rockin’ in other spheres outsyde thee plastick grooves spyralling in my lyvyng roome. That’s quite enough.

What about all the bands in the movies and on the smaller, less silver, screen? Enduring faves include the unseen but very much heard Electric Banana, doing “Grey Skies” in Tigon Films’ excellent Home Counties happening hocum-haze Haunted House Of Horror (1969) and, through a lens, quite darkly, Langston Cove performing “Footpath to Lavender Street” almost imperceptibly in the background during ‘The War Machines’, a Dr Who episode in 1966.

Anyway, some American nutter’s done what I’ve been imagining all these years. He’s only created lists of groups in the movies! Just sit back, relax, have a think about something and some berk’ll do it all for you eventually. That’s my way.

Check out the super 60sgaragebands.com for fairly exhausting lists of 1960s rock group TV cameos (1964 .. 1970), rock group feature film cameos (1964 - 1970) and the mysterious-sounding 1960’s rock groups’ Miscellaneous Appearances (1964 - 1970).

Also, after the Phase IV discovery (meet them at their Myspace page), it looks like there are more fictive funk merchants on the rockin’ horizon. Look at a recent Sweet Floral Albion comp and tell me the whole world ain’t goin’ ROCKHUNTIN’?!?!?!?!

Git some!!!

Unilove me.
